It depends on how the cabinet is modified during installation. While KCD’s Oven Cabinets are built for durability, supporting a double oven typically requires custom field modifications.
Key Considerations:
- Modifications Required: Double ovens usually require the internal platform to be lowered or repositioned, which alters the cabinet’s support structure.
- Installer Tip: Reinforcement can be achieved by adding cleats or blocking at the new platform height.
- Base Panel Strength: The provided base panel is sturdy enough to support the weight of a double oven when installed correctly.
