Sticking Profiles – Shaker vs. Brooklyn
What is the difference in the bevel between Shaker White and other Shaker door sticking profiles?
- Shaker White, Oslo Oak, and Oslo White feature a square edge sticking profile.
- All other Shaker profiles (excluding Shaker White) have a beveled (slanted) edge.
This means Shaker White and the Oslo doors have a cleaner, more modern edge, while the rest of the Shaker styles carry a transitional bevel detail.
See visual comparison below:
- Ogee – used for Brooklyn
- Square – used for Shaker White & Oslo
- Bevel – used for Shaker (excluding White) & Essential
